Our collection is often purchased for special occasions. Communions, spring celebrations, and weddings are the most popular. I consider it an incredible compliment when women choose us to celebrate those important days. It is a very spontaneous source of inspiration when I am in the store myself and help customers with styling. I listen and anticipate what they have in mind, but I also dare to suggest something outside their comfort zone. Usually, I gain their trust 😀
Our colleagues in the stores are also extremely patient when it comes to helping customers choose a beautiful outfit. We want our customers to be 100% convinced and feel great in their choice. I regularly receive photos on Instagram of women looking stunning in one of our outfits, which is of course the icing on the cake.

This year, we are celebrating our daughter Robyn's spring festival. These are moments I cherish and want to celebrate. Our son is 18 and is fully immersed in the next phase of his life. He is establishing his own life, and parenting is completely different. It is incredibly fascinating to follow that journey and be part of it. As a coach, I try to stand on the sidelines and give him the confidence to go for it. If you can dream it, you can make it happen. He no longer wants to be in photos with us, but my daughter feels super comfortable in front of the camera and is totally into fashion. Her spring celebration is the perfect opportunity to showcase some outfits designed to celebrate. Outfits to celebrate.

Of course, our children have been exposed to fashion and entrepreneurship from an early age; we are very transparent in everything we do. That feels most natural to us because we run our business as a couple and often Four Roses about Four Roses at home. There is little distinction; everything is intertwined. In the beginning, I wanted to maintain that boundary more, but I noticed that it took a lot of energy, and at some point, we let go of that. Now everything runs together; work and private life are one and the same for me.
We pass on the values and standards that are important in our company to our children. Sustainability is a topical issue and an important theme for us. I also buy lots of colorful clothes for my children, exclusively from Belgian brands, as the quality is vastly superior. I also like to pass on clothes to the children of friends and family. Robyn and Andres will always check where the clothes are made and avoid fast fashion chains. This has happened quite spontaneously, but I am very proud that they take this message to heart.
